I lucked up and found this spot as a mid-point heading to Saint Anthony, Idaho. Richfield, Utah is a town near the Paiute Trail.
You can access the Paiute Trail directly from the RV park. Some of the trails were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. I was able to do several of the loops to Elsinore and Fillmore. The trails rise to the red rock formations that nature has sculptured into fantastic shapes and small caves. At the highest peaks, the mountains are capped with snow, especially April thru May. There are many panoramic views of the green valley between the mountains with a dark green pigmy forest of pinyon and juniper. There are also areas full of oak, maple, and mahogany trees. Take the time to marvel at the grand view of the Tushar Mountains. The area also has shopping, restaurants, cultural activities, and nearby National Parks for you to enjoy with plenty of outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, hunting, and mountain-biking to keep you busy.
